[Mageia-discuss] Prefered browser not used by thunderbird

A few days ago I made a normal update on my Mageia 1 system. Since then, when I click on a link in Thunderbird, instead of opening 
Opera, as it used to do, it is now opening Firefox.

If I manually launch /usr/bin/www-browser, Opera is correctly launched.

gconf contains the correct configuration:

$ gconftool -g /desktop/gnome/url-handlers/http/command
/usr/bin/opera -newtab %s

$ update-alternatives --display www-browser
No alternatives for www-browser.

$ xdg-settings get default-web-browser
Opera.desktop

A quick search on the web didn't help much. Not even this one: 
https://forums.mageia.org/en/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1442&p=10477&hilit=thunderbird+firefox#p10477 because I found anything indicating 
which browser to use on Thunderbird's configuration.

Thunderbird reports to be 10.0.3 which matches the package name: mozilla-thunderbird-10.0.3-1.mga1


Has anyone else seen this? Any idea whether it is a bug in Thunderbird or a problem in my configuratioon (which used to work well 
before the latest update)?
