Are you saying that - even if I give the Mageia-2 installer the whole
drive to play with - I still need to install 64-bit Mageia rather than
32-bit?

No problem for me (I have a copy of the 64-bit .iso), but I hadn't
thought it appropriate to install 64-bit on a 2GB RAM netwbook!

But why does UEFI mandate 64-bit?
