Then the repositories. As others MandrivaUser.de has its repository with lots of packages and own Mandriva Linux editions, resulting from user requests ands own ideas, comparable with MIB. We have no problems to integrate all that in a general contrib repository. But there is one important point: All packages in that contrib repo have to follow certain rules (signatures, versioning, no license violations, etc.). Although such rules are essential they will cause certain groups or single packagers to stay out of this general repository as has been the case with Mandriva Linux.
