This will confirm it.

Something else is pretty messed up then (assuming you are using systemd
which I'm pretty sure you are).

Is your /usr on a separate partition?

Either way, apply all updates, urpmi dracut and then run "dracut -f" to
regenerate your initrd and reboot.
