I have had little time for the last few weeks. I stayed with regular updates to Cauldron until just after the /usr move thing, and all was well when I left it. This weekend I went back to the netbook, booted Cauldron, and updated - - a *very* large update. All still looked well. I had been using the netbook with a VGA switch box, so I was used to seeing the display on the netbook losing its lower end, while I worked on a larger monitor. Preparing for my holiday, though, I disconnected it from the switchbox, depending on the netbook native display (Intel embedded). For some reason it refuses to forget the VGA setting. In MCC it tells me that there is no VGA screen output active, yet the screen image clearly shows a ghost-like VGA image underneath the LVDS1 image. Is there any way I can get this back to a workable situation? Thanks Anne - -- Need KDE help?
