In short :

- please try to test upgrade from 2010.1, dams will post a procedure for
that, and link problem to  https://bugs.mageia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=56 
If people have a vm, that's nicer as you can use snapshot for that ( and
so test upgrade from 2010.2 to cauldron several time to see if the issue
are fixed ). Another solution is to reinstall the same distribution in a
vm each time. Dams will coordinate this effort.

- if you plan to do a big upgrade that could disrupt the distribution,
please warn before, and if possible try to avoid doing it between 8
march and the release of the alpha 2 ( 15th march ), so the team in
charge of the iso do not have problem.
