+Can you provide the full error message, and the relevant input? We aren't 
+logging these at present.

+Umlauts etc. should be allowed, but don't currently display correctly in 
+activation emails, in the site itself, but I am working on fixing that (fixed 
+most display issues in the site in trunk, still need to fix emails).

+I would like to fix this issue, before I merge all of trunk into live (which 
+runs at https://identity.mageia.org), which will bring other fixes as well,
