+Well, if i remember correctly, only one of those two is needed. I.e.
+radeon.modeset=0 is a workaround or quick-and-dirty fix if you don't
+want to/can't install radeon-firmware. After you install radeon-firmware
+radeon.modeset=0 is unnecessary.
