[Mageia-discuss] Request for testing: hplip

+We currently have hplip packages in Core Updates Testing which need to 
+be tested. If you have an HP printer and Mageia 2 then you can help :)
+
+To enable you to update packages from Core Updates Testing you need as 
+root to use: edit-urpm-sources.pl --expert
+
+Place a tick in the Updates column next to Core Updates Testing.
+
+You can enable it as per normal update media and should be able to 
+update from Core Updates Testing. Please _don't_ install everything you 
+find there, just the packages relevant to hplip which you can find 
+listed on the update request here:

+Once you have updated just those few please, remember to disable Core 
+Updates Testing again.
+
+Please check you can still print and scan OK, the HP printing menus are 
+OK and that there are no regressions. If you are able check duplexing 
+(printing on both sides of the paper) that would be useful too.
+
+Please feedback your findings onto the bug above and include the 
+architecture you tested with (i586 or x86_64)
+
