Hello,

Do we have a preferred/integrated backup program yet?

I have used drakbackup in the past. It was simple to configure and had
few dependencies (no sql databases). The files were also simple gzipped
tar archives, which made getting a file out easy, but very time
consuming, no matter where I was.

I noticed that drakbackup was missing from the repositories (didn't
check backports or testing) and the "icon" for it is gone from the
Control Center. We we be "porting" it over?

I wouldn't mind seeing an updated drakbackup program, maybe using dar
instead of tar. Dar is much faster than tar at getting information out
of a large (>1GiB) archive.

Thank you,

Jeff
