+there was some requests to get direct communications for mentoring, hence the 
+chat channel.

+the idea is that all frequent questions are being put on the FAQ and all 
+things unclear on the policies (which are alot of them).

+if you want to become a packager, and you are assigned a mentor, often your 
+mentor will ask you to send emails to him/her.
+
+mentors and people helping out with mentoring are asked to go on that chat 
+channel. i'm on it, and it's quite busy there.

+the thing is that packagers need to read up on policies cause it's important 
+to follow those.

+even if you don't have a mentor yet, you can still make .spec files, have
