Try removing the "resume=" bit of the kernel command line. I need to
+look into the problem properly, but this is what I've found to be the
+cause... not quite sure why it messes other things up, but it's on my list.

+Can you confirm whether this fixes if for you? No need to rebuild initrd
+or anything, just edit the command line at the grub prompt.

Thanks Colin, that fixes it for me. I have again a problem with the last kernel and nvidia module, but with the kernel 3.1.4 it's ok.
