+As to the rpm, personally I would not even include the 
+bootstraplinux_ubuntu12_32.tar.xz, but instead add a 
+README.urpmi advising the user to:
+1) launch steam As user
+2) when the pop-up appears select re-install,
+   it will then dl and install the current steam to 
+   ~local/share/Steam/.
+3) To disregard any terminal pop-up listing additional pkg that 
+   need to be installed as these listings are done for ubuntu.

+I got it and the steam linux Half-Life beta installed and running here.
