+Depends on policy kit policy, but it should basically respect the same
+rules as other suspend operations triggered from GUIs.

+e.g. if the system is multi-seat and has other sessions active on other
+seats, then it will prompt you to enter the root password, but in a
+typical case where you are the only active, logged in user, then yes, it
