+I was under the impression talking to ennael on IRC a few weeks ago that this was already going to happen.

+totem is not needed and is the first thing I uninstall on new installations as well.  If you need FF plugins, gecko-mediaplayer should have 
+you covered.  If you need a video player, kmplayer, dragon player, or VLC do the job (I'm not sure which was decided to use by default in KDE 
+Mageia, that's where the discussion with ennael left off).
