+ok, just got them in updates.
+
+$ rpm -qa | grep release
+mageia-release-common-1-2.mga1
+lsb-release-2.0-34.mga1
+mageia-release-Default-1-2.mga1
+
+Note that mga2 packages no longer appear in updates.
