Hi,

Could you please drop alexandria please ?

1) Alexandria is not maintained upstream anymore
http://alexandria.rubyforge.org/
“New features and future development are being carried out in a separate
project called Palatina. It’s a complete re-write, and is currently at
an early stage of functionality. If you’re intersted in helping the
project, or following it’s progress, you can subscribe to the
palatina-devel mailing-list or check out the wiki.”

2) There’s a rewrite of it, but it’s not active since last september.
see git clone git://code.gnostai.org/git/palatina.git

3) Alexandria uses ruby-libglade2, which is not part of ruby-gnome2
anymore since version 0.90.6 (we have 0.90.8)
see http://www.ruby-forum.com/topic/980605

To make a long story short, I don’t think it’s worth keeping it. We
would have an unmaintained software, based on unmaintained libraries, so
I’m in favor of dropping alexandria.

Regards,
