+1) Alexandria is not maintained upstream anymore

+2) There’s a rewrite of it, but it’s not active since last september.

+3) Alexandria uses ruby-libglade2, which is not part of ruby-gnome2
+anymore since version 0.90.6 (we have 0.90.8)

+To make a long story short, I don’t think it’s worth keeping it. We
+would have an unmaintained software, based on unmaintained libraries, so
+I’m in favor of dropping alexandria.
