KA listen only listen on eth0, and need a FQDN. So if it is not the case, ka-d-server will try to open + a port on 0.0.0.0 IP address, wich cause an error. You can fix it easely setting an valid hostname in /etc/hosts file. + Don't forget to kill ka-d-server with crtl+C key, after testing it will open a port on a valid IP address.
