Also do not try to rm the file if it does not exist (it seems to complain
and then exit if you try to do it on a non-existant file - which means
the function is not named nicely as -f to rm should make it ignore this)

This is more accurate as you can override polkit configuration such
that any user in the wheel group will acceptable rather than the
'root' user specifically.

Keep existing translations however to avoid unnecessary churn.
