The term Mageia &mdash; μαγεία in greek &mdash; means <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magic" title="Magic">magic</a> in english. It&#39;s a reference to <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leon_Mandrake" title="Leon Mandrake">Mandrake (the magician)</a>, old name of the distribution <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandriva_Linux" title="Mandriva Linux">Mandriva Linux</a>.<br>
