+I've had to deal with similar problems for many years. Either nfs mounts
+are lost and the path to the install mirror is lost, or named restarts
+and DNS fails. There are no doubt other paths too, but this is a fairly
+common issue all the same. Obviously it would be nice to handle it (in
+all it's causes) more gracefully, but it's not strictly speaking why I
