I'd like to see that too. (Another novice packager.)
I've done some changes to ~/.rpmmacros to modify a little the local
build, and I do compile everything I import, but I'd really like to
simulate the mageia environment.
It would also be nice to see an indication of minimum + likely disk

What would be the solution ? I must admit I didn't know this problem in
Mandriva because I have only i586 systems.

Playonlinux requires wine and wine-full (both provided by wine, and wine-full
being an explicit Requires you added some months ago, from the changelog).
Does wine64 provide those ? Is the requires on wine the problem ?

Greetings,

Hello from an old Mandrake user and lurker, and now Mageia hopeful.

I am very certainly too late for the Alpha 2, but this may be useful
for next round:

GQView has been abandonned by its author since 2006: there is an
actively developped fork, Geeqie (http://geeqie.sourceforge.net/),
already present in Mandriva 2010.1 contribs if it helps.
Unless there are missing features or Geeqie bloats excessively (it
does not seem that way to a casual user), it may even be possible to
replace GQView completely and drop the RPM. Any opinions from GQView
heavy users?

Music-wise, Clementine might be a good candidate for ISO inclusion: it
is already in core, has few dependencies (and most are already in the
ISO anyway) and handles large collections better than most equivalents
(exaile, for example, last time I checked)
It is the Amarok for those who do not want or cannot afford KDE on
their computer (old SSD-based netbooks, for example).

I will try to be more timely in the future (including sending
this again for the beta, if necessary)

Best regards,
Priscus.

Well, do you have any apps to run under wine64? I don't....

The thing is, wine64 is built now, but I am not sure how many people
actually use it...

but they can be, or at least the current Mageia packages allow it:

$ rpm -qa|grep wine
wine64-1.3.15-1.mga1
wine-gecko-1.1.0-2.mga1
wine32-1.3.15-1.mga1
lib64kwineffects1-4.6.1-1.mga1
$

I didn't force anything they both installed cleanly along each other.

Geeqie is almost dead too these days (on the ML all initial devs recently
said they don't have time anymore to dedicate to it, also s.o. else seems
to have cloned the code to github and is working on it separately so
currently there are several svn/git versions floating around), personally
I'm not too convinced by the changes made in Geeqie, I still prefer
Gqview.
Of course that doesn't mean that we can't have both packages just like
Mandriva, which also has both Gqview and Geeqie packages in the repos
(even in cooker last time I looked).
I wouldn't consider Geeqie a replacement, rather a specialized fork aimed
at professional photo tagging.
