2012/10/7 RICHARD WALKER <richard.j.walker at ntlworld.com>:
> Rémi,
> It was not my intention to offend you do please accept my apology if
> that is the case. I would, however, urge you to consider changing the
> "or put OK...". Without studying the message too deeply the casual
> reader (eg. me) might reasonable read the "or" as implying an earlier
> "either". This is a common idiom in spoken English and sadly can
> result in ambiguity.

Sorry, my answer was not well formulated, it may have sounded a bit
vindictive but this was not my intention. I just wanted to explain the
circumstances for this mail being automatically generated and
addressed to the whole team. But your misunderstanding of the message
clearly shows that this reminder is hard to understand for people who
are not used to Bugzilla, so thank you for explaining the points which
were hard to understand. I saw that Romain edited the message,
hopefully it will now be clearer.

>
> As you noted, the message was addressed electronically to a team. I
> would also suggest you alter "you are the assignee..." to "your team
> is the assignee..." which would have made the rest of the message a
> lot easier for me to understand.
>
> Finally, I now understand the reason for this message being sent to a
> team and I have great sympathy and concern for the circumstances
> behind the call for help with Hebrew translation. I am not an active
> member of the team, merely a subscribed reader to the list. I have a
> general interest in all things Mageia and I am always prepared to
> offer whatever assistance I feel capable of offering.

Yeah, that's about it. Actually Romain's script browses through all
the unresolved bugs which were assigned to the mageia-i18n team and
sends a reminder to this list. Those bugs are assigned to mageia-i18n
when they are related to translation matters, and for now there is
only one (quite) old bug about the Hebrew translation... we can't do
much about it from now until we have an active Hebrew translation
team, so we might end up seeing this reminder from time to time, but
it's a nice feature to be sure that we do not forget translation bugs
that we might have been able to solve.

>
> Richard

Regards,
Rémi
