From ed79e628df4682de78c5cbf53a68df2d6c9b930a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Paulo Ricardo Zanoni Date: Thu, 18 Feb 2010 11:51:08 +0000 Subject: Make Intel Vermilion cards use the vesa driver The vermilion driver is not maintained, doesn't compile and doesn't work since a long time ago. There are no bug reports for it. Vermilion definition inside the Cards+ file was not dropped because we need to keep documented that those pci IDs are Vermilion cards, and not any other intel video card. --- NEWS | 1 + 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+) (limited to 'NEWS') diff --git a/NEWS b/NEWS index f74689ec..f89b5444 100644 --- a/NEWS +++ b/NEWS @@ -1,3 +1,4 @@ +- make Intel Vermilion cards use vesa since vermilion doesn't work - drop vga driver which is no longer working - drop i810 driver which is no longer working - add support for Intel Atom "Pineview G" and "Pineview GM" integrated -- cgit v1.2.1
