* fbmngplay *

a simple fbcon based truetype text renderer

This is a simple example program, using the kernel framebuffer device
to display text, rendered with freetype2.

On a unix-like system, the build instructions are simple:

(install and/or build the freetype2 library)
make
make install

To use the renderer:

fbtruetype -f /path/to/times.ttf "Text to display"

fbtruetype -h
